We began to understand the magnitude of the devastation when we reviewed these charts in the office and this is just the first accessment, the hardest hit areas are being visited this week by the district overseer to see what help is needed. Power was just restored here on 12/23.

There is an intense pace and we are hoping to start assembling homes on the foundations Ron & Riley are pouring with the help of some brothers, fighting rain, mud and lack of shovels and mixing all by hand and carrying buckets of gravel. Not quite the same as we are used to but nonetheless getting done!
We worked a long day, had our family watchtower study and hit the sack hard, there is no better sleep!
Wow, what a huge undertaking with all those homes to be repaired and rebuilt. So glad you have a nice place to stay!
