Last Days and Counting....

A lot of training has been going on this week. We came to the time when door knobs and electrical work needed to be installed along with many more windows. Adam saw the only way to make things go quicker was to purchase a circular saw so that the guys can stop cutting the plywood with handsaws and be able to finish these homes at a faster pace.  The boys were very excited and Adam gave them a training lesson on using it, installing door knobs and more.

We received a shipment of materials recently, the driver was supposed to arrive at 9pm but instead ended up arriving at 12:30am, so the boys at the hub unloaded the materials and were definitely tired the next morning and rightly so. So the overseer said they could sleep in a little in the am.

It is a busy week of spiritual assignments again, comments for morning worship for me, Adam highlights and a public talk this weekend. It will be a nice way to wrap up.

Do you remember the little sick boy that we visited? Adam really wanted to do something to fix their house a little. The problem we faced is that the mom rents and does not own the home. The homeowner said he did not want metal framing to be used to fix the house only wood. Well, after some conversations with the owner he finally just agreed. Now the rush to get the materials and a team ready to do it this weekend as well. Let’s pray it all comes together!

We can’t believe we have just under a week left here, the emotions are starting to build that we will have to say goodbye. But we will cherish our memories here forever.
